Simple things are not always easy

...like when your nose is stuffy, breathing and eating at the same time are not so easy. In fact, it's pretty frustrating. I tried to rub my nose to make it work, but it didn't help much.

at least Mommy let me have the spoon to chew on, and that was fun

It made me feel so much better. I really enjoy my food!

Camp'n with the Robertsons

We had so much fun at the lake, Mom and Dad wanted to try another trip. This time we got to go with my friend, Caroline.

We got to play in the lake

and roll on the ground and eat dirt

and I guess my stroller (that I love) wouldn't work here, so Mom and Dad got a backpack for me to ride in

I like riding on Dad's back and seeing all the trees and things

and at the end of the time, I got to see Grandma Punker! It was a super fun trip. I like camping!

Mommy says at 6 months...

...I'm supposed to sit up. So far, I like to do what I'm told

I had lots of fun smiling for my portraits

But I have other tricks, too!

What... ? Is something wrong?

I'm happy and healthy... I keep jumping ahead on my growth chart. The nurse measured me twice at my check up, but I really was 27". I'm still kinda skinny though. Just under 15 pounds.

Brand new places

Mom and Dad said they were tired of where we live and wanted to go away for a LONG time. So they took me to this place where there was lots of water and bugs and all kinds of new things to see.

Got to watch Daddy run around with a bunch of other people. When can I go, too?

Those things are funny!

That is NOT like my bath!

Those things are funny! Can I grab them?

I like going for ride ON the water!

All packed up and ready to go

This is my favorite spot. I like swinging!

Adventures in month FIVE

Well, let's see... what have I been up to?

We went to visit Grandma Punker and Grandpa Robbie a few weeks ago. We all sat in a big, warm bath. I wasn't too sure about it all, but Grandma Punker helped me feel better.

I figured out how to sleep on my belly

Some days I just can't wait to get up and start the day, but then I remember I'm still tired. So is Dad.

Hey... what are those?

Mom and Dad started giving me this new stuff in my mouth. I wasn't so sure about it at first.

But I guess it's OK.

I've mostly been having fun hanging out with Mom

and Dad

and working on sitting up straight, but there's a lot of room in this chair still for me to turn around.

FOUR MONTHS

I am becoming such a big girl! Mom took me to see those doctor people again. I'm starting to think I don't really like those people. They poke me all over, make me drink something weird and then I get bites on my legs. It all makes me really sleepy. But in the end, Mom was happy. I'm up to 25" and 12 and a quarter pounds!

16 weeks!

I'm getting so good at holding my head up and looking around (there's SO much to see!), Mom and Dad thought it was time for a new seat for me.

I'm not sure what to think of this seat just yet. Will it help me be able to see more things? I can't stop looking around!
